ballet

Makenzie loves to dance, so we decided to sign her up for a beginning ballet class at the Y. We got her some dance clothes and ballet shoes and were ready to start. She was so excited to start dance and couldn't wait to meet her teacher. As we were getting ready for the first class she insisted on having her hair put in a bun, because ballerinas wear buns. Such a silly girl :)

There wasn't really a place for parents to sit and watch, so we had to hang out in the small basketball gym. We could peek in on the class through the windows right next to the door. Mitch and I took Alex into another part of the gym to run around and play.

After class we all went out to dinner.

It was delicious!

 

 

Makenzie absolutely loved her first dance class! The next 8 weeks should be fun!
