homecoming parade

Well it seems that as soon as I get almost caught up I take a hiatus from the blog causing me to get super behind again. So, here I go, trying to get caught up again!

The dance studio that Makenzie is taking dance from has a float in the Idaho State University Homecoming parade. We were all excited to go to the parade and watch Makenzie in it. It was a cold morning, but Makenzie was excited to sit on the back of a truck and throw candy to the crowd. She also loved her new shirt for the parade.

While waiting for the parade to start, we hung out inside the clinic to stay warm. One of the perks that comes with the job!

She got really into it and loved collecting the candy.

 

 

Makenzie was too cold, so she sat with hot chocolate and watched the rest of the parade.

After the parade we headed to Pizza Pie Café for lunch.

Makenzie loved being in the parade!

And we left with LOADS of candy and treats.

It was definitely a good day :)
