Near the end of March I decided to apply at Gold's Gym for a swim instructor position. Everything worked out and I started teaching the next week. I have been working in aquatics in some form since I was 15 years old. Teaching swim lessons again was pretty great. I love seeing kids progress and seeing them become more independent in the water.

After a couple of months of teaching I decided to put Makenzie into some of the lessons. She had been in lessons before, but after our move it had been a while. Over the last several months she has made huge improvements! I was concerned with me being her teacher that she wouldn't listen well. Luckily, it has turned out great! Makenzie is becoming quite the little swimmer and I love it!

 

 

 

 

Yay for constantly smelling like chlorine again!
