34 weeks

August 6

July 31 at the AAFP National Conference

August 5

Well, still terrible at documenting this pregnancy.
I blame it on having two other kids to take care of.
In reality, it's probably me just slacking.
Last appointment was July 28.
Makenzie and Alex came with me.
They like to hear baby's heartbeat.
And see Dr. Dyer.
Baby checked out good.
Weight gain thus far for me is 10.6 lbs.
At 33 weeks (July 30) I headed to Kansas City with Mitch.
We went to represent the residency at the AAFP National Conference.
Traveling while prego wasn't too bad.
Sitting on a plane was a little uncomfortable.
During the conference we were able to have an ultrasound done.
Another program had an ultrasound machine at their booth.
One of their second year residents did my ultrasound.
Baby wasn't too cooperative.
She had her hands and arms over her face.
It was still fun to see baby!
And she's still a girl!!
We did learn that she is head up.
Mitch said there is plenty of time for her to flip.
So no worrying here.
Current craving...chocolate soft-serve ice cream.
Heartburn still a problem.
My dr recommended Prilosec OTC.
It mostly helps.
Only real fix is to have the baby.
No name yet.
Still no real options either.
Started getting more ready for baby.
I moved the girls rooms around.
Makenzie is now in her own room in the basement.
Alex is upstairs with the baby.
Alex is excited to share a room with baby.
Moving furniture around left me sore for a few days.
Nesting is in full swing around here.
I also bought a newborn outfit and blanket for the little one.
My mom came up and helped me make some freezer meals
and go through all of my baby stuff.
Preparations are coming along.
Still so much to do...
And not a lot of time to do it!
Makenzie said it best when she pointed out,
Next month is September. That's when baby sister will be born!
Good thing I have the best little helpers to help finish prepping for baby!
Makenzie and Alex are super excited for baby sister!
Next appt August 13 at 35 weeks.
