Recently, Makenzie has outgrown all of her shoes. She needed a few pairs of shoes so we headed to Payless. Mitch and I had Makenzie try on like a dozen pair of shoes. She has small (size 4), but wide feet. So, shoes are difficult to find for her. When we would put the shoes on her we would have her walk up and down the aisle so we could see how they would work. Makenzie had a great time trying on all of the shoes. She even loved trying to pick out her own shoes. There was one pair of shoes that she kept going for. She must have grabbed them in every size.
The pink, sparkly Princess shoes Makenzie loved!
Unfortunately, we decided against getting them for her. They didn't have a size that would fit right now. We did end up getting one pair for now and a second pair (tennis shoes) for her to grow into. They were both on sale and we only paid $10 for the two pairs of shoes. That was definitely us looking for the bargain. Mitch wanted to get her a pair of really cute boots for the winter, but we just couldn't pay the $30 for toddler shoes.
The super cute boots!
I think Makenzie enjoyed the shopping trip and her Uncle Bryant would be proud of how much she likes shoes!
Bry is defiantly proud :) That's funny she loved trying them all on. bBrooklyn does too and sometimes it gets annoying.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe those boots are 30 dollars! We got those for Brooklyn last winter and they weren't close to 30!!
