That day during nap time all she did was play. We couldn't get her to actually take a nap. After over an hour of frustration we put the crib side back on so she would take a nap. That night we decided to give the bed a try again. The first night in the bed I layed several blankets on the floor next to the bed in case she fell off.
She did ok the first night, but the following day and night she wasn't so lucky. She fell off a couple of times and landed right on her head. It was so sad. So, the following Monday I purchases a bed rail to help her stay on the bed.
The next few days were really rough. Nap time was impossible! She hated going to bed. She wouldn't stay in bed and would just scream. I really wanted to switch the bed back to a crib. But we stuck it out and now we are doing much better! Hopefully Makenzie still loves her big girl bed!
