Christmas Eve started out with some basketball. It really wouldn't be a trip to Utah without playing a little ball. My brother Brian sets up some basketball pretty regularly. So it wasn't a suprise that he had set up two times to play for the two days after he arrived to Salt Lake. It had been a while since I played so I felt a little rusty, but we had a great time playing with family and friends!
That night we headed down to Spanish Fork for dinner at Mitch's grandparents' house. Makenzie loved Grandpa Johnson's trains! Mitch's grandma is so talented and made me some placemats for Christmas! That night we stayed at Nate (Mitch's brother) and Melis' house. Makenzie and Madyson loved having a sleepover.
The next morning we all got up for Christmas morning. Makenzie only got a stocking because we left everything else in Kentucky. No worries though, the rest of the day Makenzie was absolutely spoiled! We spent the rest of the morning and had breakfast at Mitch's parents. The afternoon and evening was spent at my parents where we had a Christmas dinner. It was really great to spend the holidays with family. Some of the gifts we received were clothes, coats, boots, movies, and a kindle. Makenzie was spoiled with clothes, boots, a coat, a leap frog laptop, dress up clothes, movies and so much more!
The next day we spent the morning with Mitch's family. It was his little brother, Bryan's birthday! We then returned my little brother's car to my parents and they took us to the airport. We spent the rest of the day traveling home to Kentucky.
The next day, the 27th, we celebrated Christmas again! Santa had stopped by while we were in Utah! Makenzie loved opening more presents. When she was done she kept saying "more!" Santa brought Makenzie a table and chairs set and a kitchen! She loved them!
