Last day in New York!

June 9

Our final day in New York we decided to head back to Central Park to see some of the parts we hadn't seen yet. We started with the carousel. Makenzie loved it!

We were planning on going to the Central Park zoo, but due to setting up for an event it was closed. Since the zoo was closed they had the children's zoo open for free. I was dying of the heat and decided to sit outside the zoo and wait while Mitch took Makenzie through.

After the park we walked several blocks to Dylan's Candy Bar. It was fun to see all of the candy and treats, but the best part was cooling off and sharing some ice cream.

After Dylan's we headed back for Makenzie's nap. After our break we were planning on heading to Ground Zero and Old New York, but we decided that it was too hot and we were a little worn out. So instead we just had an evening in. We ordered pizza that we ended up not liking and just watched tv. It was good, since the next morning we were heading up to Boston!
