three day weekend

mitch's last day of his internal medicine wards rotation was thursday.
he started cardiology today.
that means he had a three day weekend.
we started friday off with a visit to wild eggs (a local breakfast restaurant).
it was delicious.
makenzie especially loved her pancakes.
then mitch and i finally saw harry potter.
amazing.
totally want to see it again.

next we all took a nap and then hung out for the evening.
we finished the day with a trip to coldstone.
makenzie was in ice cream heaven.
the rest of the weekend wasn't too exciting.
but we did get to spend time together.
here's to hoping for another three day weekend soon.
