the road trip

November 13

Since most of the residency programs that Mitch applied to were located in the West, we decided to drive to Utah and make that home base. Mitch would travel from Salt Lake to his interviews while the girls and I hung out with family and friends.

It took us several days to drive to Utah, with a few interview stops along the way. The girls were great! The new van also made the drive more bearable. The extra room, DVD player, navigation all made things more comfortable and easy. We had SEVERAL activities to keep Makenzie entertained. By the end of the drive, Alex was not a fan of her carseat. Poor girl. We all survived and were happy to see family and friend.
