The girls and I had been hard at work making Christmas treats and were ready to deliver them. We took a bunch of treats to the nurses and residents working at the clinic. While at the clinic Mitch told the girls about a special patient he had that morning, Santa himself! After the clinic, we were heading to the mall to say hi to Santa. Mitch told Makenzie that Santa had a cough and had come to the clinic to get checked out. He told her to tell him that her dad was his doctor. Makenzie told me about it, but I didn't really believe her (oops). Mitch confirmed her story for me later that night.
We headed to the mall and the girls each went and sat on his lap and talked to him for a few minutes. Alex has been loving Santa this year!

Makenzie didn't like that we had to wait for him.
