The day after Mitch's parents headed back to Utah my mom came to visit. Every time Makenzie would ask about Grandma and Grandpa I would tell her they went home to Utah, but Grandma Wotring was coming. Needless to say, she was excited! We were all excited. We love having visitors!
We stayed pretty busy while my mom was here. We went shopping, had the girls pictures taken, ate lunch at Panera Bread, threw Makenzie a birthday party, celebrated Makenzie's birthday, mom taught me a few things about making jewelry, played at the park, and just enjoyed our time together. Plus, Alex and Makenzie were spoiled beyond belief!
The day before Makenzie's birthday while we were out Grandma took Makenzie to the Disney store to pick out her birthday gift. Makenzie was hilarious! She was so excited about everything and wanted it all. We ended up helping a little with the decision on what was finally picked.
We were so happy to have Grandma come visit! Mitch had just started his surgery rotation and was busy with that. Having Grandma here kept Makenzie entertained and I was able to take a few long hot showers without worrying about the kiddos! Plus, she was able to meet her newest granddaughter! Thanks for coming! We look forward to your next visit (maybe Grandpa will come too)!
I remember Makenzie wearing that pink dress that Alex has on :) Love those girls, they are adorable! Happy Birthday Miss Makenzie
