During Mitch's week off he was able to spend a lot of time with Makenzie, while I spent a lot of time at work. We did set aside some time to spend as a family. We thought it would be fun to take Makenzie bowling for the first time. So, Makenzie and Mitch bowled while I watched and cheered them on.

Mitch and Makenzie bowled 2 games and by the end Makenzie was losing some interest. She did great though and talked about bowling a lot after. She kept asking to go again. Mitch would help push her ball down the lane, but Makenzie would get mad. So occasionally the ball would get stuck part-way down the lane. The poor guy had to come get it a few times.

After bowling we headed to lunch and to run a few errands. We finished off with a stop to Grater's Ice Cream. We had never been before. Makenzie enjoyed her "elf" sundae! Overall, it was fun family time!
