disney vacation - day 3: hollywood studios & epcot

Our second day we decided to split between Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot. The game plan was to head straight to the Tower of Terror while someone not wanting to ride it picked us up Fastpasses to Toy Story Mania. We were all excited for another day at Disney! (especially Makenzie!)

As mentioned before, Makenzie was always so excited to see a character!

Makenzie loved pushing the little girls around in the smaller stroller. (Notice the girls Minnie bows - they all had matching red bows)

She was so excited to sit on the giant ant, but when she sees a real one she totally freaks out!

She also met Handy Mandy.

And we went to the Disney Junior Live on Stage show.

She knew every character and song and got SO into it!

Alex and the other kiddos loved it too!

Once we started making definite plans for our trip, we talked to Makenzie about going. We also talked to her about saving her money so she could buy something at Disney World. For over a year she saved her money (chore money, birthday money, money she randomly found on the ground, etc) so she could buy a princess dress. A couple of months before the trip, she decided she wanted a Rapunzel dress. She was able to save enough, plus some!

She was so excited and proud of her purchase!

Plus, she makes such an adorable princess!!

Grandma and Grandpa Johnson

In the early afternoon we decided to head over to Epcot. We hopped on a boat outside the entrance of Hollywood Studios and then sailed by the different resorts on our way to Epcot. We entered in through the back entrance by the World Showcase. 

As we were walking across the bridge between France and Great Britain, we noticed Mary Poppins. 

I may have screamed like a little girl out of excitement :) 

Makenzie and I HAD to go meet her!

Makenzie was also able to meet Princess Aurora in France.

Day 2 was another successful day in the parks. We all had a great time! After touring the World Showcase we called it a day and headed back to the house. The little ones were ready to eat and just play before bedtime. We still had several exciting days ahead!
